1. Received text message advising delivery of consignment today
2. I have been unwell and absent from work for six days, but dragged myself out of my sick beg to wait at my business for the delivery
3. Delivery to my workshop normally occurs before 12:00 and so when delivery hadn't happened by 1:30pm, I called TNT to inquire whether delivery was going to happen today, if not, I will go home. I was told delivery was still going to occur that day.
4. I contacted TNT again at circa 3:00pm, 4:30 and 5:10. On each occasion, except when I called at 5:10, was assured delivery was still going to happen this day. When I called at 5:10, I was told there had been an incident with the driver 20 minutes earlier, that would prevent the consignment being delivered today and that delivery would occur on Monday.
5. You can imagine my surprise when, out of interest, I checked TNT Tracking tonight and found the following Tracking Advice: (a Copy and Paste directly from the TNT Tracking Web Site)
30/09/2022, 16:00 Ballarat Shipment delivered in good condition
So, according to TNT Tracking, delivery was made some 50 minutes before the incident with the driver that would prevent the delivery from being made today.
On the surface, it would appear someone is telling lies, or TNT is posting false tracking information.
I was there at the delivery address for no other purpose than to receive the delivery. No delivery was made. If a delivery had been made, it was made without authorization to leave the consignment without a signature; however, that's a mute point, as no delivery was made.
All the above makes Fedex/TNT look like an incompetent, pathetic joke of a company.
I wonder what story TNT is going to give me to explain the above away. Very, very disappointing.

Great when it works. Really bad when they don't pick up or they stuff delivery. Customer service is terrible. Most Drivers are great.
